Academic credit and certification

Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS)

Participants may be able to gain academic credit for their work through the Nationally recognised Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS).  These credits are available at a number of levels:

• Level 1 - certificate level

• Level 2 - diploma level

• Level 3 - degree level

• Level 4 - masters level

This pack can be studied up to and including Level 3.  Participants interested in obtaining accreditation should contact a local higher education institution or university that delivers educational programmes for nurses and healthcare professionals.
